Hi!
My name is Alanna and I am a stay-at-home mom and hopeful homesteader living in rural Manitoba. I decided to start this blog when my husband Brent and I decided that we were finally going to use our acreage to have some animals and try homesteading. I have zero experience with farm animals and virtually no experience with gardening. I grew up in a town in British Columbia and had never been on a farm until I met Brent. I am both excited and terrified to start this journey along with our two daughters Cece and Penny, and our two golden retrievers Kili and Brinkley. I promise to document all the fun, crazy and hopefully enlightening adventures we encounter as we try to create a farm to table way of living.
